Job Description

We Are The Employer
PROJECT ACCOUNTANT - Hybrid Remote Vienna/Tysons Corner, Va.
- Set up and maintain contracts, projects, CLINs, and labor categories in Costpoint in accordance with contract, pricing, and funding documents.
- General Ledger project accounting, preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations (revenue, unbilled, AR, project related balance sheet accounts).
- Review and process vendor and subcontractor invoices; validate labor categories, rates, funding, and period of performance before posting in Costpoint.
- Support timekeeping, labor charging, and cost allocation integrity in Costpoint; help enforce compliant practices across the organization. System and process enhancements and testing in Costpoint related to billing, revenue, project accounting, and month end close.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of above referenced skills, duties and accomplishments including ?S?trong Costpoint ?Project ?Accounting, ?including A/R, A/P, G/L, Month End, Billing, FFP, T&M, Cost Plus, FAR/DFARS and DCAA expectations, ?MS Excel, FedGov Costpoint experience in/at/for FedGov environment?.
- REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS/BA Accounting/Financial Degree or Related Fields
- REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s): CPA, CPA track, or other relevant FedGov Accounting/Financial related.
- REQUIRED CLEARANCE: MUST Be a US Citizen for Government Clearance.
