What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Prep Worker - General Labor position at Edaville Entertainment Venue?
Join our venue’s Pre-Faire Kitchen Crew and help prepare our food service areas for an upcoming fall event. This hands-on position begins August 3 and is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment, staying active, and being part of a dependable team.
Daily work may include basic food preparation, cleaning and organizing kitchen areas, stocking supplies, setting up workstations, moving inventory and equipment, and assisting with kitchen setup projects throughout the venue.
Skills and Qualifications
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- At least 1 year of food service or kitchen experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Comfortable standing and staying active throughout the workday
- Able to lift and carry approximately 30 to 40 pounds
- Able to follow directions and work well with a team
- Able to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Food preparation, restaurant, catering, or kitchen experience is helpful
