This is how you will grow:
- Drive decisions for total number of sensors and sensor locations needed to deliver passive restraint deployment times provided by Occupant/HV/Fuel system performance engineers in front/side/rear/rollover crash modes while meeting "no-deploy" targets for low-speed, pothole, curb, & nuisance impacts
- Analyze CAE predictions of sensor signals to estimate deploy times for all impact modes
- Develop comprehensive no-deploy test matrix to ensure sensor system robustness
- Work with crash ECU supplier to develop appropriate trade-offs between no-deploy and must deploy events
- Support testing team to ensure quality data collection
- Create post-crash documentation to record results, observations and any necessary actions
- Communicate all test results to the cross functional team
Requirements

- Automotive OEM experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
- 3 plus years of similar experience
- Ability to build strong working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels.
