Job Summary
EDA International ATL Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Atlanta overseas warehouse team. This role involves handling, loading, unloading, and moving materials using stand-up forklifts. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers
Perform picking, staging, and put-away of inventory
Assist with shelving (stocking) and occasional de-shelving (down-stocking) tasks
Maintain accurate inventory and complete required documentation
Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety issues
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free
Qualifications
Prior experience operating stand-up forklifts required
No requirement for forklift certification (or willingness to obtain after hiring)
Bilingual required: English Spanish OR English Chinese
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
