About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our construction team in managing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with multiple stakeholders, and understands construction documentation and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings and specifications to assist in soliciting bids and defining project scope.
- Support project estimating and preconstruction efforts.
- Prepare and manage AIA contract documents.
- Coordinate and produce client and lender documentation.
- Manage permitting process: request, track, and submit all required approvals.
- Prepare and maintain subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Process, track, and distribute submittals and RFI's.
- Process invoices and pay applications.
- Maintain accurate project records and provide documentation to clients.
- Assist with project meetings and follow-ups.
- Handle warranty requests and closeout documentation.
- Support subcontractors, vendors, and clients with project-related needs.
- Maintain document control (digital and paper), ensuring drawings and records are current.
- Perform administrative tasks including project setup, invoicing, and file management.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction coordination, project administration, or similar role preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Procore and Deltek CE software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
