Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in Hermiston, Oregon. As a Full Time Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and promoting a positive image of our company. This is an individual contributor role, where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills while working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package of $17.5 to $20 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and 401(k) retirement plan options.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and providing information about our products and services
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Process orders, payments, and refunds accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any service-related issues
• Continuously strive to improve customer service processes and procedures
• Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or customer service is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed
