Job description – Territory Sales Representative
Maintain, develop and grow profitable sales of customers within assigned territory by promoting HVAC/R products and programs. We offer residential/commercial heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, parts and supplies to the professional contractor community. The Sales Position cultivates customer relationships, assesses their needs and connects them to the appropriate product/service solution.
Principle Responsibilities / Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts
- Identify introduce and close on adding new business
- Engage customers with value-add product/services
- Gather, analyze and communicate information regarding the competitive landscape
- Introduce and implement marketing, advertising, training and other basic business builder tools to aid customers with building a successful business
- Create, coordinate and present quote proposals to assigned customers
Desired Skills and Experience
Successful candidates will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- 5 years minimum in in HVAC/R sales or equivalent experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Self-motivated and confident with strong ability building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and problem solving
- Outstanding attention to detail with excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent HVAC/R products and applications
- Analytical skills and basic math proficiency necessary to interpret sales data and apply general business principals
- Should have a good driving record and flexibility for occasional overnight travel
- Embrace an Entrepreneurial spirit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
