What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finishers position at Ed's Concrete Construction?
Ed's Concrete Construction is looking for concrete finishers to join their team! ECC is a Columbus based concrete contractor working in residential and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate has experience in placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete for a variety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pour, level, and finish concrete for slabs, driveways, sidewalks, curbs, and foundations, etc.
- Operate finishing tools including trowels, floats, and power tools
- Set and strip forms, place rebar or wire mesh, and prep job sites
- Apply surface treatments such as broom finishes, stamping, or sealing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with foremen and crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- 2 years of concrete finishing experience preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of concrete curing and finishing techniques
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
