Licensed Spray Technician – High-End Residential Landscaping
Position Overview
At Ed Castro Landscape, we are recognized throughout the Southeast for delivering award-winning landscape design, installation, and maintenance services to high-end residential and commercial properties. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Licensed Spray Technician to join our team in Roswell, Georgia.
This role is critical in maintaining the health, appearance, and long-term vitality of luxury landscape environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in turf and ornamental care, hold the appropriate Georgia pesticide applicator licensing, and demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to excellence in client service.
Primary Responsibilities
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, fertilizers, and other landscape treatments safely and accurately across high-end residential and estate properties.
- Diagnose turfgrass, shrub, tree, and ornamental plant issues and implement effective treatment plans using industry best practices.
- Monitor landscape conditions proactively to identify pest, disease, irrigation, or nutrient deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate chemical application records in compliance with Georgia state regulations and company standards.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain spray equipment to ensure safe and efficient application practices.
- Follow all safety procedures, label requirements, and SDS documentation standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding landscape health recommendations and treatment schedules.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and enhancement teams to uphold Ed Castro Landscape’s reputation for quality and craftsmanship.
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe.
- Previous experience in turf and ornamental spray applications required.
- Experience servicing high-end residential or estate properties strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Southern turfgrass varieties, ornamental plants, pests, diseases, and treatment protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret pesticide labels, SDS documentation, and application instructions accurately.
- Experience operating commercial spray equipment and maintaining application tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and extended walking.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ornamental & Turf Category Licensing in Georgia.
- Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) practices.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
Pay: $23.99 - $28.90 per hour
