About these roles
As a Registered Nurse with ECU Health, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care. You will practice in alignment with the North Carolina Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards of Practice, and ECU Health policies and professional standards.
In this role, you will:
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care, from assessment and care planning to intervention and evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
- Support an effective team environment and contribute to a culture of safety, excellence, and respect.
- Delegate tasks appropriately in accordance with the NC Nurse Practice Act.
- Accurately document care to support continuity, communication, and high-quality outcomes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current North Carolina RN license or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
