- Perform comprehensive eye exams and additional specialized testing and therapy as indicated for new and established patients
- Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease; conduct diabetic eye exams and evaluation of dry eye disease, cataracts and glaucoma
- Order and interpret diagnostic images such as corneal topography and tomography, fluorescein angiography, specular microscopy, corneal pachymetry, anterior and posterior segment OCT, ocular photography, and other special study instruments
- Prescribe corrective spectacles and contact lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Conduct low vision evaluations
- Triage and handle urgent eye concerns and emergencies
