Minimum Requirements
- 5 years and Certification from Joint Commission for Allied Health Personnel (JCAHPO) at the level of Certified Ophthalmic Assistant(COA) is required, or 7 years of experience required if not certified.
- High School plus specialized training.
- Competencies needed:
- Fundus photography
- Ocular Coherence Tomography
- Automated and Manual Biometry
- Corneal Topography and Tomography
- Automated Visual Field testing
- Specular Microscopy
- Fluorescein and ICG angiography
- Ophthalmic Ultrasound/UBM testing
- Primary Shift: Day
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- On Call: No
- Weekends: No
- IMPORTANT: This position is listed as an Ophthalmic Technician III, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as an Ophthalmic Technician I, II or III.
