ECU Health Chowan Hospital and ECU Health Women’s Care-Edenton, located in Edenton , North Carolina are seeking a BC OBGYN to provide hospital call coverage for their established practice.
New providers would need to orient day before first shift and or morning of first shift.

10/30/26 8 am-11/2/26 8 am
NOVEMBER - two weekend call coverage in November- does not matter what weekends just need Friday at 8 am until Monday at 8 am.

Details
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Chowan Hospital
- 25-bed hospital
- 100% inpatient clinical care
- Provider must be comfortable with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- LT must respond to the hospital within 20 minutes
- Low Volume Emergency Department (7 beds)
- Epic EMR
- No ICU responsibilities
- LT will not respond to codes
- ECU Health Air and ECU Health Ground Support to immediately transfer patients when needed
- Delivery volume per month is 28-34
- Current ALSO Certification
- Evidence of completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years
- Current NRP certification ( required for ECU Health Community Hospital obstetricians) –
