LOCUMS NP/PA Oncology Symptom Management Clinic Opportunity in Greenville, NC
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Cancer Care, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to provide locums coverage for their Symptom Management Clinic. The Symptom Management Clinic is located inside the largest cancer center in Eastern North Carolina and provides acute care to patients who experience side effects from chemotherapy. Providers with Hematology Oncology experience are preferred .
New providers will need to come in the day before their first scheduled shift for orientation. Candidates must have an active North Carolina license and North Carolina DEA.

- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma, 974 bed Academic Medical Center
- 100% Outpatient Clinical Care
- 12-bed symptom management clinic located inside the Eddie and Jo Allison Smith Cancer Center
- Clinical responsibilities will include providing care for hematology oncology patients exhibiting symptoms related to acute side effects of chemotherapy such as nausea, vomiting, dehydration, and fever
- No call
- BLS required
- Anticipated Volume: 12-14 patients per day
- No critical care responsibilities
- Locums will not respond to codes but will need to respond to patients who experience medication reactions in nearby infusion suite
