- 9-bed Emergency Department in award winning Critical Access Hospital
- Emergency Department and after hours inpatient cross cover responsibilities
- EM provider will cover 6 inpatient beds on nights and weekends in place of hospitalist
- No ICU responsibilities
- Annual Emergency Department visits: 14,000
- Acute Stroke Ready, Joint Commission
- Average number of patients per day per provider: 21
- Average number of admissions per day: 1
- ECU Health Air and Ground Support available to immediately transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center
- Systemwide EMR system: EPIC
- Will accept IM physicians and FM physicians with emergency experience
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications are required for IM/FM
