Job Description
ECU Health Roanoke Rapids NC is seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to help provide coverage for their team. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation.
Coverage Need
July 6 - ongoing
Weekly work schedule/hours: 40 hours
M-F with one night of call: 7am-3pm weekdays, Call: 3pm- 7am call
Details
5 OR facility with endoscopy suite and Labor and Delivery Epidural coverage provided by CRNAs. Daily coverage is 4 CRNAs with 1 of these CRNAs being on call. 1 MDA available daily in OR and for call cases. Medical Direction in OR and CRNA only for endoscopy and Labor and Delivery. Call is covered from home with 20min response time. Call back for OR cases is rare but occasionally call CRNA will cover the OR after 1630 if cases are still running. CRNA call person responsible for Epidurals after hours. Call is shared 1:5 with weekend coverage every 5th weekend.

Details
- Must be proficient in Epidural Placement
- Inpatient only
- Call Schedule: 1:5 every 5 th weekend
- Established practice with experienced 4 CRNAs and 1 MDA support
- # of surgical cases per month: 200
- Will not respond to codes
- Will not serve as backup in the ER
- Occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER
- Must be proficient placing labor epidurals, spinals/ITN in obese patients, and comfortable with pediatric patients
- BLS, ACLS Certifications Required
- Procedures: Epidurals, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Gynecological Surgery, Podiatry
- EPIC EHR experience preferred
- Note**
