Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing all data analytics systems and ensuring that your department aligns with the company's priorities. It involves researching and developing strategies to improve analytics, as well as establishing and maintaining data sets used to link supply chain transactions to standardization, utilization, contracting, sourcing, value analysis, and performance improvement strategies and tactics. The role includes performing detailed analyses of transactional and utilization data for non-labor expense categories from various data source systems, including but not limited to MMIS/ERP, EHR, GPO, supplier partner systems, websites, and databases. Additionally, it involves identifying, reporting, supporting, and monitoring cost-saving opportunities and initiatives. Other responsibilities include compiling standard analytical reporting packages, extracting routinely used reports from advanced GPO analytics tools, and developing customized analytical reports and dashboards to support supply chain logistics operations, purchasing, and other financial business decisions for customers throughout ECU Health.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-year College degree is required.
- A master's degree is preferred - or higher.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years of experience in a health care management role or leadership capacity required.
- Advanced level of proficiency in Office Product Suite required
- Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
- Proficient in the use and manipulation of GPO and other vendors supported applications or relevant experience required. Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines as required.
- Expert level in Excel, formula writing, PowerPivot, Slicers, (Macros a plus) preferred
- Advanced level of proficiency in Power BI Application (build, design, manipulate, publish) preferred
- Advanced level of proficiency in Data Mining, utilizing ERP Systems BI and data lake preferred
- Advanced level of proficiency in Project Management and Time Management preferred.
