High School plus 1 - 2 years of formal education/training in Business or supervisory training.
One additional year of college education may be substituted for one year of the required experience with a maximum substitution of two years.
North Carolina driver's license is required.
3 - 5 years supervisory experience, warehouse/stock room or material handling experience is required.
Computer skills - Lawson and PAR excellence software, e-mail, some knowledge of Word, Excel, & Powerpoint and handheld linen par devices utilizing appropriate linen management software.
Pay Range
$20.28 - $29.56

Shift Expectations: 1st shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday thru Friday with Holiday shifts

The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

Responsibilities
- Supervises and directs the activities of Stockroom personnel including interviewing prospective
- Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the Stockroom and Linen Room in a clean and neat
- Maintains the dock and receiving area.
- Makes sure all supplies, overstocks and mispicks are addressed daily.
- Resolves inventory discrepancies and performs counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Communicates supply stock outs, receiving item discrepancies, and issue discrepancies to
- Responsible for PAR work requests
- Requests PAR level adjustments as needed, including items that need to be added or deleted.
- Responds to initial PAR trouble shooting issues. Contacts PAR Application Specialist to report
- Ensures that supplies and linen are distributed correctly and promptly.
- including PAR Supply Stations
- Monitors dated items and ensures soon to expire stock is removed from the Stockroom and PAR
- Resolves Linen issues, monitors linen purchases, and laundry service; monitors par levels
- Other duties as assigned.
