Position Summary
$30K Commitment Bonus
1. Under direction of the Nurse Manager, is delegated certain responsibilities and authority for managing a nursing unit.
These responsibilities are coordinating, evaluating and improving nursing care and assisting the Nurse Manager in promoting safe, cost effective, quality patient care.
2. Assists with evaluation of staffing patterns related to patient care
3. Acts as liaison between the patient, family and physician.
4. Demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth
5. Participates in Process Improvement Programs.
Minimum Requirements
Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Three to four years related experience
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Pay Range
$43.40 - $59.68
Other Information
Full-time, Monday-Friday days

ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
