Position Summary
Provide leadership, direction and administration to aspects of clinic activities to ensure accomplishment of its objectives. Supervise staff and oversee the activities of Clinic Staff and Providers of ECU Health Physicians. Participate with Regional Administrator in charting and implementing the clinic services mission in response to the changing needs of the community. Recommend, assist in development and update strategic long-range plans to support clinic services philosophy and goals. Inform Administrator about current trends, problems and activities in the medial field to facilitate policy making. Recommend clinic policy positions regarding administrative and legislative matters. Coordinate with the Administrator, medical staff, administrative team and other clinic personnel the monitoring of medical activities to ensure the availability of the community s needs for quality care.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Graduate / GED or higher required
- Preferred BS in Business Administration.
- Two or more years' experience in physician practice, hospital, or ambulatory care setting in a supervisory position.
- Experience in all areas of a medical office practice.
- Knowledge of health care rules and regulations.
- Organizational and leadership skills.
