Marketing Project Manager

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Marketing Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a focus on lead generation to support a federal government contract. Must pass a background check for security clearance, be a U.S. citizen, and must be able to work on site in Washington, DC.

Directs and manages the operation of national projects. Administration/management/ monitoring responsibilities include but may not be limited to the establishment of goals, objectives, performance requirements, standards, and accountability, administration of program costs, budget, and management and operation of projects. Directs teaming partners, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensures timely and on-budget completion of tasks/projects.

  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with clients.
  • Experience identifying client concerns ahead of time and developing a plan of action to address/resolve issues.
  • Manage project teams efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to conduct research on and become familiar with prospective advertisers, marketing, communications, and branding goals, and issue areas.
  • Ability to create and track persuasive communication efforts to promote advertising opportunities and brands, including traditional, non-traditional marketing and advertising methods, social media, direct response, etc.
  • Ability to conduct client presentations and face-to-face meetings.


Requirements:

  • BA/BS required, preferably with a focus on project management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with a focus in lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Minimum 5 years in advertising marketing with strong knowledge of planning, execution, and delivery of integrated marketing and communications initiatives across digital, media, creative, outreach, and stakeholder engagement workstreams.
  • Experience managing government communications, corporate communications, or marketing communications including stakeholder management and maintaining internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to conceive, plan, implement, and monitor long- and short-term projects from conception through completion.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to complete projects and successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Management experience across brand and content development, public relations, strategic planning, and digital and social media operations required.
  • Capable of prioritizing work assignments, as well as monitoring multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing government contracts is a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills as well as creative management experience.
  • MSWord, MS Excel spreadsheet, and database application proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • This is a full-time, on-site position located at the client’s facility in Washington DC.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must pass background check for security clearance
