What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Internship (Level 2) position at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC?
- Assisting with Phase I ESA studies and other projects
Determining and/or performing appropriate laboratory tests
Attending project meetings and assisting in project resolutions
Performing groundwater and soil investigations and media sampling
Performing hydrogeologic studies
Assisting with remediation system design, installation, operation and maintenance
Performing asbestos, lead-based paint and indoor air quality assessments
Performing underground storage tank assessments
Assisting with preparation of reports and proposals

What We're Looking For
Actively pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering with an environmental focus, Geology, Environmental Science or related degree
Interest in environmental regulations and how environmental issues are related to the construction process
Previous internship experience required
- Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed
- Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
The expected pay range for this role and location is $17-$19/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
