Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the Natural Resources department with a strong focus on business development and marketing initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of environmental scientists and project managers, overseeing environmental services projects, reviewing reports, preparing proposals, and managing departmental P&L
- Supervise employees and manage daily departmental operations, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines
- Coordinate effectively with regulatory authorities, particularly in navigating complex 404/401 permitting in the Southwest U.S. (Texas, Oklahoma & Arizona)
- Contribute to business growth by maintaining and developing client relationships, marketing services, and preparing proposals for environmental projects
- Manage project and budget oversight, including coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- May involve report preparation duties based on departmental needs
- BS degree in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Ecologit, Biology, Environmental Engineering or related discipline; MS degree preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant environmental consulting experience
- Professional licensure/certification (e.g., PWS, CWB, CE/CEP, or CERP) preferred
- Extensive experience in wetland and stream delineation
- Expertise in navigating complex 404/401 permitting
