Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking a high-impact, business development-focused Senior Project Manager to lead growth within our Natural Resources practice. What You’ll Own
- Revenue growth and client expansion within your market and service line
- Development and execution of a strategic business development plan
- Leadership of key client accounts and pursuit of high-value opportunities
- Building and mentoring a high-performing delivery team
- Business Development & Revenue Generation (Primary Focus)
- Drive new business acquisition through networking, referrals, and industry engagement
- Identify, pursue, and win strategic opportunities and major contracts
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Lead proposal strategy, pricing, and positioning to maximize win rates and profitability
- Collaborate with leadership to define and execute market growth strategies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, positioning ECS as a go-to partner
- Represent ECS at industry events, associations, and conferences
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team aligned with business objectives
- Provide high-level oversight of project execution (not day-to-day task management)
- Ensure projects are delivered profitably and strengthen client relationships
- Proven track record of winning work and growing revenue in environmental consulting
- Strong existing client network and industry presence
- Leadership mindset with the ability to build and scale teams
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and client-facing levels
- Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, or other degree relevant to the practice of Environmental Consulting.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience
- Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS), Professional Arborist, Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred
