ECS seeks a qualified Scientific Product Advisor to work remotely supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration' (NOAA) large-scale project. ECS seeks an experienced Scientific Product Advisor to provide QA Analyst to ensure quality across the full lifecycle of our scientific products and solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with scientists and technical teams to validate requirements, review documentation, and ensure compliance with quality standards. You will help translate scientific needs into testable requirements, manage verification and validation activities, and support audits and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates bring both QA expertise, a strong science background and the ability to communicate effectively with scientific end-users.
- Guide less-experienced members of the team
- Ensure adherence to organizational information security policies and procedures; actively participate in mandatory security awareness training; and manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company protocols and data protection standards.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (Public Trust, Secret, or higher, depending on contract).
- This work will be completed in a telework environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations and client facilities.
- The employee is expected to demonstrate proficiency in all essential job functions, tools, and processes related to this position within the first 90 days of employment. General Description of Benefits
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology)
- 4 years of experience in quality assurance, scientific analysis, scientific lifecycle management or related lifecycle management role.
- 2 years of experience developing or integrating software for scientific applications (preferably Fortran/C/C in a Linux environment) to assess algorithm complexity and required effort.
- Demonstrated experience with quality management systems, risk assessments, and lifecycle documentation.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and scientific software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific findings into clear recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
Req Benefits:
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
