As our In-House Architect, you’ll be at the heart of developing sustainable, high-quality workforce housing in one of the most scenic regions in the country — the Lake Tahoe Basin. Working within a passionate and growing development team, you’ll lead design efforts, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and bring innovative ideas to life from concept to construction.
This is a full-time position based in Glenbrook, Nevada, with the flexibility to work remotely and occasional site visits to South Lake and North Shore Tahoe, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process from concept through to completion.
- Create detailed design drawings, renderings, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with development, construction, and planning teams.
- Ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and local authorities.
- Support entitlement and permitting processes.

The Person
To succeed as our In-House Architect, you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Licensure (or active pursuit of it) in California
- 5 years’ experience in residential, multifamily, or mixed-use design
- Strong technical knowledge of California building codes and sustainable design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- Excellent communication, organisation, and collaboration skills
- A genuine interest in creating homes that strengthen communities
