Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt to various construction sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and material needs.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper placement for optimal site organization.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, graders, and other machinery as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including bulldozers, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drilling machinery is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify potential issues with equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members on-site.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks such as digging or lifting heavy materials.

License/Certification:
