Job Summary
We are looking for a safe and reliable person who is capable of driving different types of trucks, vans, forklift, and can perform labor such as un/loading, lifting, moving, cleaning, etc.,
You must have a CDL to drive a roll of truck and must have experience. This role will require driving all types of vehicles: Roll Off Truck; 20 FT Box Truck; 26 FT Box Truck; Transit Extended Cargo Van; Forklift; Pickup Truck with Hitched 12 Yard Trailer.
You will also be expected to perform labor tasks during commercial and residential junk removal and yard work. After your initial probationary period your role will become more focused on strictly our dumpster rental business doing the deliveries and pickups with the roll off.
Duties
- Drive company vehicles to deliver and pickup waste bins
- Load junk removal items such as furniture, garbage, debris, appliances, etc.
- Un/load company vehicles before and after the routes
- Drive to transfer stations and dump sites for junk removal waste
- Deliver hitched trailer to customers for rental
- Dump bins using forklift into 12 yard or larger dumpster
- Clean empty bins with pressure washers
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving Roll Off trucks and performing dumpster rental pickups and deliveries
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the transportation industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record-keeping purposes.
- Ability to lift heavy items as required during loading and unloading.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
