Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
• Implement and adhere to cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
• Handle manual lifting of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment safely and efficiently
• Dust surfaces, clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures to maintain a spotless appearance
• Maintain cleanliness of carpets through vacuuming or specialized carpet cleaning methods
• Use janitorial tools and equipment properly to maximize efficiency and safety
• Communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding specific cleaning needs or issues.
• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including janitorial or custodial roles
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care products, and sanitation techniques
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Customer service skills to address client requests professionally and courteously
• Experience with post construction clean ups is a plus
• Familiarity with the standards of residential housekeeping practices is advantageous
• Ability to follow detailed instructions for cleaning procedures and safety protocols

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
