Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas attractive and healthy
- Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools with precision and safety awareness
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and pest management practices are applied effectively
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting schedules to optimize water use
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and promote healthy growth
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds for hazards or damage, reporting issues promptly to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Assist with the installation and repair of hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls as needed for landscape enhancement
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and irrigation system management
- Knowledge of plant identification and basic pest management practices
- Experience operating hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers
- Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation
- Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards

Pay: $17.50 - $47.00 per hour
