Nonprofit Manager

EcoServants®
Ramona, CA Intern
POSTED ON 7/7/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/4/2026

Company Description EcoServants® (The Ecological Servants Project) is dedicated to protecting ecosystems and empowering people to take consistent, practical action in their communities. Rather than focusing on single events, EcoServants® builds repeatable systems where every cleanup and restoration effort contributes to documented, measurable impact. The organization invests in accountability infrastructure such as CSR, a reporting system that makes environmental stewardship verifiable and scalable. Rooted in the concept of “green Christianity,” EcoServants® emphasizes responsible care for the Earth as part of a faith-driven commitment to ecological stewardship. The team collaborates with like-minded individuals to foster environmental connections and host shared events that deepen participants’ sense of identity and purpose.

Role Description The Nonprofit Manager intern will support the day-to-day operations of EcoServants® as part of a remote internship role. Responsibilities include coordinating community engagement activities, assisting with program planning and implementation, and helping document environmental cleanup and restoration efforts for the CSR reporting system. The intern will contribute to donor stewardship and annual giving campaigns, including drafting communications, maintaining contact lists, and supporting fundraising initiatives. Additional tasks may include monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities, compiling data and impact reports, and collaborating with team members to improve processes and systems. The role involves regular virtual meetings, cross-functional collaboration, and independent work to advance EcoServants®’ mission and programs.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear writing, professional email etiquette, and the ability to present information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and contribute to impact reporting and decision-making.
  • Interest or experience in Annual Giving and Stewardship, including donor relations, fundraising support, and maintaining donor records.
  • Understanding of M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) practices, such as tracking program activities, outcomes, and documenting results.
  • Demonstrated commitment to environmental stewardship, community service, or nonprofit work.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, online collaboration platforms); experience with CRM or reporting systems is a plus.
  • Relevant academic background or ongoing studies in nonprofit management, environmental studies, public administration, or related fields preferred.
