Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sales Application Engineer to join our team at our Monroe, OH location. The role involves providing technical expertise, supporting customers in implementing ECOROLL solutions, and ensuring successful integration of our tools into their processes. Key responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, developing tailored solutions, preparing technical documentation, and assisting the sales team by addressing client inquiries. The position also involves travel to client sites and close collaboration with the technical and sales teams.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering concepts, including roller burnishing, deep rolling, and skiving/process optimization techniques
- Experience in customer support, technical consulting, and handling customer queries
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Project management experience to oversee tool integration and solution implementation for clients
- Proficiency with technical drawing software such as CAD applications
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations and develop tailored solutions for clients
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Prior experience in sales engineering or industrial manufacturing is a plus
