Job Summary:
Leads and assists shipping and receiving workers (Shipping Clerk I & II) in shipping and receiving activities. Act as backup Supervisor for the department as needed/required. Monitor incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. This position is also responsible for performing Shipping Clerk functions to properly pick, pack, ship and receive all products and materials and must be able to plan and execute the functions independently with minimal supervision and lead others within the team. Additional responsibilities will include: assistance with creating SOP and other shipping-related documentation, inventory data-entry and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance to departmental, safety and Company meetings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of shipping/receiving or manufacturing experience required
- Minimum 12-months previous shipping experience consistently exceeding expectations in the position
- 12-months fork truck experience
- English fluency (read, write, speak)
- Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment (dirty, confined spaces, strict timelines, etc.), attention to detail, and adapt to changing demands
- Read and understand units of measure
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Must be safety conscious and carry out work responsibilities in a safe manner
- Must be able to work overtime to meet operational requirements
- Able to safely perform related physical requirements/demands of the role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency required (inventory, data entry, work orders, etc.); previous ERP experience preferred
