Responsibilities
- Conduct wildlife inspections and identify pest issues using entomology knowledge and field experience
- Apply pesticides and chemical agents following strict pesticide management protocols and safety procedures
- Operate company vehicles, power tools, farm machinery, and ladders safely during outdoor work activities
- Perform pest control treatments utilizing integrated pest management techniques to ensure effective and environmentally responsible solutions
- Follow safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection, ladder safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining treatment plans, answering questions, and maintaining positive client relationships
- Document all work activities accurately through detailed reports and logs for compliance and record-keeping purposes
Qualifications
- Prior experience in outdoor work environments such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools, farm machinery, and ladder use are essential
- Knowledge of pesticide application, pest control chemical handling, and pesticide management practices is required
- Understanding of integrated pest management strategies and entomology principles is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely; ability to operate farm machinery and power tools confidently
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
