Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oil and Lube Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes using various types of motor oils and filters, ensuring proper procedures are followed for different vehicle makes and models
- Conduct tire service including rotations, replacements, and balancing to optimize vehicle safety and performance
- Assist with vehicle alignments, brake inspections, fluid top-offs, and basic maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior work in an automotive repair shop is highly preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques is a strong plus
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for repairs
- Experience in automotive service or as a service technician demonstrating proficiency in oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires, batteries, or other vehicle components
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism
