What are the responsibilities and job description for the Moving Team Member - Mover position at Economy Movers?
Reliability, Transportation, Able to Take Direction, Real I.D.
- Must be reliable. Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
- Must have a CA REAL I.D. - Please verify this BEFORE applying. Non-Negotiable. If you don't know what that is, please look it up and verify you have this type of I.D.
- Prior moving experience is nice, but more importantly is your attitude and willingness to take direction and be flexible.
Moving operations
- Safely pack, wrap, and load all items and furniture onto the moving truck.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
- Safely unload and place items in the client's new location.
Customer service - good helpers
- Generally a good helper knows who the leader of the crew is and directs any questions from the customer to the crew leader.
- If an issue arises, a good helper pulls the crew lead aside and discusses it in private, away from customers ears.
- Good helpers are able to put their phone away/aside during work times and only check it on breaks without needing to be told this.
- Good helpers make no empty trips and always are mindful of this.
