What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician Joplin position at Economic Security Corporation?
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance duties, such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, related to the care and repair of agency facilities and minor repairs on agency vehicles. Must maintain a valid Class “C” Commercial Driver’s License, have reliable transportation, and meet Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements. Must complete 15 clock hours of training per year that is approved through the Missouri Workshop Calendar in order to meet Office of Head Start standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to life and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/ move more than 100 pounds.
