Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning and positive behavior management.
- Foster strong communication with children to support their emotional well-being and developmental milestones.
- Use classroom management techniques to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging space for all children.
- Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing protocols to monitor progress and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning and curriculum development to enhance educational outcomes.
- Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services through tailored activities and individualized plans.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches such as preschool or daycare best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and behavior management.
- Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate innovative teaching methods like Montessori or other child-centered approaches.
- Demonstrated experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.

Required Qualifications
All Candidates must be Vaccinated
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Master’s degree in early childhood development or early childhood education
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education with a minimum of one year of experience teaching young children in an accredited/ State licensed Early Childhood Program. (Preferred)
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with two years of relevant experience in an accredited/licensed Early Childhood Program.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44,217.00 - $49,000.00 per year
