Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Clerk, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, setting the tone for their entire experience with us. You'll provide top-notch customer service, handle inquiries with ease, and manage administrative tasks with finesse. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm smile and provide exceptional customer service
- Efficiently manage check-ins, check-outs, and cash transactions
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing accurate information and resolving inquiries
- * Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked
- Assist in coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and resolve issues to the best of your ability
- Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure clean and well-prepared rooms for incoming guests
- Maintain knowledge of safety and security protocols and assist in emergency situations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk operations is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with basic accounting practices and cash handling procedures
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
