What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maid/Laundry Attendant Part-time position at Econo Lodge?
Housekeeping:
- Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas
- Dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors
- Replacing linens and towels
- Replenishing bathroom supplies
- Reporting any maintenance issues
- Following company cleaning protocols and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Be able to go up stairs
Laundry:
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry
- Operating laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers)
- Removing stains and treating delicate items
- Maintaining laundry room cleanliness and organization
- Ensuring proper inventory of laundry supplies
- Adhering to safety guidelines for handling chemicals and equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping or laundry services but will train right candidate
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends
- Must have reliable transportation
