What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper position at Econo Lodge?
We are currently looking for experienced and enthusiastic housekeepers to support our hotel. Housekeepers will be responsible for checking each room to determine the status of cleanliness and overall condition before beginning a cleaning process. We are looking for candidates with experience in cleaning hotel rooms along with strong organizational skills, as daily tasks often include prioritizing a list of rooms to clean as well as moving furniture and performing detailed cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
- Clean bathrooms, able to maneuver in small areas
- Make beds to the standard shown
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Handle laundry duties (towels, sheets, etc)
- Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
- Check stocking levels of all consumables
- Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws

- Proven working experience in relevant field
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated

- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
- Knowledge of English language
