Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and process laundry items using garment care machines such as washers, dryers, and finishing equipment
- Operate garment finishing tools to ensure garments are neatly pressed and properly finished
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning workstations, laundry equipment, and surrounding areas using appropriate cleaning detergents
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving laundry carts or bulky items throughout the facility
- Process cash transactions accurately when accepting payment for laundry services or additional garment care requests
- Ensure proper garment care by applying fabric care knowledge and adhering to specific cleaning instructions for different textiles
- Assist with customer service inquiries related to laundry services, providing friendly support and information about processing times or special requests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of garment finishing, pressing techniques, cleaning processes, and fabric care principles
- Familiarity with laundry equipment operation including machines and garment care machinery
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and repetitive motions (as needed and case to case basis)
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory or supplies
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and maintaining a safe work environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards assisting clients and team members
- Must have a valid driver license with no moving violations for 2 years. And willing to take task for pickup and delivery.
