Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a Lead Generation Specialist - Door-to-Door. We're looking for a motivated, outgoing Lead Generation Specialist to drive new customer acquisition for our sustainable food packaging products. In this field-based role, you'll go door-to-door visiting restaurants, cafes, and food service businesses, connecting directly with owners and decision-makers to introduce our packaging solutions and generate qualified leads for our sales team. This is a great entry point for someone who is energetic, persuasive, and eager to build a career in sales.
What You'll Do
- Visit restaurants and food businesses in an assigned territory to identify and meet with owners, managers, or other key decision-makers
- Introduce our food packaging products and explain how they can benefit the prospect's business
- Generate, qualify, and document new leads daily tracking tool
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Distribute marketing materials, showcase samples, or catalogs as needed
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets
- Provide feedback from the field on customer needs, objections, and competitor activity
- Represent the company professionally and build positive first impressions with prospects
What We're Looking For
- 0-2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - comfortable approaching strangers and starting conversations
- Strong work ethic, Self-motivated, resilient, and able to handle rejection positively
- Valid driver’s license required and must have vehicle to travel for reliable transportation
- Basic computer/smartphone skills for lead tracking and reporting
- Knowledge of the restaurant or food service industry sales experience is a plus, but not required
