Job Title: Mold OperatorLocation: Milford, NH 03055Duration: 6 Months (Temp-to-Hire)Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30am-2:30pm POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for running molding machines to produce molded parts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work under general direction of the department supervisor and/or leader with a minimum of supervision following processes and proceduresMaintain personal production and quality standards as determined by supervision.Operate injection molding machineOperate blending machine to be able to combine raw pellets togetherCut off excess material with an exacto knifeInspect products for surface defects and flawsPosition and secure threaded cores and/or overmolds into moldFill machine hoppersFollow all safety regulations.Maintain area in a clean and orderly conditionSPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts.Additional Characteristics:This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environmentThis position may perform repetitive tasks including picking up and placing small partsThis position required the ability to lift 25-55 lbs. occasionally, 20-55 lbs frequently, 10-25lbs.This position may require standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, up to 8-10 hours per dayThis position requires good manually dexterity and visual acuityThis position requires some climbing of laddersThis position may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
