What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Inside Sales Representative - Southeast Region position at ECOM AMERICA LTD?
Seeking a sales person to represent our company in the Southeast Region selling analytical instruments. Strong territory/strong commissions with the right experience.
Duties, Responsibilities & Skills:
- Highly motivated "sales" aptitude.
- Working through various sales channels to sell industrial combustion/emissions testing equipment.
- Direct sales and cold calling from small companies to international companies.
- Develop sales plan and strategy for reaching sales quota.
- Introduce products to existing and new markets.
- Manage CRM and provide regular sales reports.
- Travel throughout territory (1 week per month).
- Responsible for effective technical presentations and product demonstrations as part of the overall sales effort and customer relationship building.
- Increase/maximize sales to existing accounts & establish new accounts (70/30 ratio).
Required qualification:
- Experience selling in industrial (!) markets.
- Must have experience conducive to understanding end-user applications, recognizing customer needs and presenting solutions based on available products.
- Must be a team player and possess the independence of an experienced sales person.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and confidently present and detail them to management.
- Relationship building and being comfortable selling over the phone are essential to the position.
- Position requires a positive and motivated attitude to drive sales through all channels along with the ability to quickly learn, apply and present technical information.
- An excellent communicator, with strong negotiating skills with some college preferred.
- The ability to work effectively with end users and/or direct sales customers, and representing the company at trade shows, with professional groups and technical associations.
Compensation:
- Base and uncapped commission (monthly and sales revenue based)
