We provide long-term stormwater facility maintenance, inspections, vacuum services, vegetation management, and regulatory compliance support to public and private clients.
Position: Stormwater Maintenance Technician
(Seasonal with ability to move full-time based on workload and performance)
Weβre seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Technician to support stormwater facility maintenance and vacuum operations throughout the region. This position focuses on maintaining compliance and functionality of stormwater systems.
There is potential for this role to become a long-term position based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
β Stormwater Facility Maintenance
β’ Perform mowing and vegetation management within stormwater facilities
β’ Conduct routine inspections and document site conditions
β’ Remove sediment, debris, and blockages from systems
β’ Assist with facility repairs and system troubleshooting
β’ Maintain compliance with municipal and state requirements
β Vacuum Truck & Field Support
β’ Assist with vacuum truck operations (vactor work)
β’ Clean catch basins, vaults, and stormwater structures
β’ Support sediment removal and disposal procedures
β’ Follow proper safety protocols around confined spaces and traffic zones
β Equipment Operation & Documentation
β’ Operate trucks, trailers, mowers, and power equipment
β’ Complete inspection reports and maintenance logs
β’ Perform daily safety checks and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
β Experience in stormwater maintenance, landscaping, or public works preferred
β Comfortable performing physical labor in outdoor environments
β Ability to operate or willingness to learn vacuum truck systems
β Detail-oriented with ability to document inspections accurately
β Valid driverβs license (CDL preferred but not required)
β Strong communication and teamwork skills
