What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Process Analyst position at ECOLAB?
Ecolab is currently seeking a Business Process Analystassigned to key global customers to support its Greensboro basedFood Retail Services (FRS) business. This personwillbe responsible for leading technical business analysis efforts to develop and clarify business requirements and develop detailed business requirements that will be used to provide necessary functionality to meet business needs. In addition, this position will work with other team members to develop plans/schedules/deliverables, to meet overall release schedules.
What You Will Do:
Work as a liaison between business units and CDS; bridging requirements and solutions, assessing levels of customer satisfaction and confirming expectations.
Define product strategy by working with cross-functional teams to determine alignment with corporate strategy, functional plans, revenue objectives and user needs.
Maintains expert product knowledge using an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for enhancements.
Evaluate purchased vs. internal application development and preform vendor analysis - demonstrate the ability to identify business value and benefits and communicate to stakeholders.
A Self Leader who demonstrate the ability to serve as a strong team member with solid communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Learn and apply existing and new system processes, methodologies, and skills that lead to new systems which contribute significantly to the business or department's success.
Work withEcolab business partners to understand the business goals and objectives, as well as the project scope, to ensure the business requirements align
Actively participate in face to face customer meetings while leveraging technical expertise to solidify the business relationship
Translate business objectives into requirements to facilitate system deliverables.
Create various scope options dependent on priorities and cost/benefit expectations
Document current and future business processes
Perform walk-throughs prototypes to gain approval for final solutions.
Participate in the definition of acceptance criteria and quality metrics
Participate in post-project reviews with team members and clients
Work with remote stakeholders and team members from various parts of the business
Maintain project information and provide accurate project status updates to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2 years work experience in an technical, analytical and problem-solving role
2 years experience project management and/or business analysis experience
2 years experience researching new technical solutions
2 years experience writing clear and concise requirements and business communications.
2 years experience developing use cases/user stories
2 years in process mapping and workflow optimization
2 years experience in a business environment performing extensive analysis, requirements gathering, and problem solving skills required.
Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, negotiation and organizational skills required.
Must have experience working with cross-functional teams and demonstrate the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise.
Must be able to ensure consistent delivery of high level service and remain focused on providing satisfactory customer service.
Ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation or investigation preferred.

Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers on corporate and store level
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities
Knowledge of requirements and traceability, wireframe development and the Agile development process
Experience working on Global projects in addition to experience in training users of diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility
