The HR Generalist will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, from high-volume recruitment of assembly workers to managing payroll and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Lead the hiring process for assembly technicians, warehouse staff; manage job postings on Indeed/LinkedIn and conduct initial screenings.
- Onboarding: Conduct new hire orientations, safety training, and ensure all employment eligibility and background checks are compliant with Texas and Federal laws.
- Payroll & Benefits: Manage payroll processing via systems like ADP.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, and ensure compliance with the regulations.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Plant Manager with office administration.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years in HR, ideally in a manufacturing in Texas.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of Texas labor laws and OSHA safety requirements.
- Skills: Experience with Payroll platforms; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Education: Associate degree or higher in HR, Business, or related field.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
