Senior National Account Manager

EcoEnclose has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional, to drive revenue and business growth with leading sustainability brands in industries like apparel, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals.

In this role, you will manage named leads, delivering consistent value while pursuing sales opportunities for cutting-edge sustainable packaging innovations such as 100% recycled shipping mailers, seaweed polybags, algae printed boxes and more.

You will work to meet sales targets by conducting meetings with new accounts, working the relationships to develop packaging opportunities, closing those opportunities, and developing the customer into a long-term client.

Key Goals for the First 18 Months

  • Generate $2 million in weighted pipeline value, and $500,000 in sales with enterprise clients by:
  • Nurturing warm enterprise leads at events, dinners, in-person visits, checkins, and more (list of 50-100 warm leads to start)
  • Leading top-funnel business discovery calls with key contacts at enterprise brands (4-5 per month)
  • Growing the wallet share of 20-30 enterprise brands who use EcoEnclose for small projects but should be using us for their full packaging suite

Responsibilities

Lead Nurturing & Opportunity Generation

  • Develop and Maintain Key Relationships: Build and sustain strong professional relationships with decision-makers and influencers in apparel, cosmetics, and nutraceutical industries. Specifically with contacts in marketing and procurement who are focused on the sustainability and aesthetics of their eCommerce packaging.
  • Identify Emerging Trends: Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities with larger companies entering the material circularity movement. Develop and execute against strategies for introducing EcoEnclose's innovations into their public-facing sustainability targets such as carbon-neutral, plastic-reduction, recycled content, Extended Producer Responsibility, and other ESG targets.

Closing New Business

  • Customer Needs Identification: Clearly understand high-level customer requirements, including operational, performance, inventory, lead time, aesthetic, financial, legal, and sustainability requirements to provide tailored packaging solutions. Clearly understand and map the stakeholder signoffs needed for each requirement, and the corresponding contracts & commitments that play into a customer's decision. Focus on identifying and capitalizing on both quick-moving and long-term opportunities, driving sales milestones in both categories
  • Deliver Presentations and Close Deals: Lead presentations on the benefits and applications of EcoEnclose's cutting-edge sustainable packaging solutions. Negotiate and close sales in collaboration with Account Executive teams to secure long-term relationships with large clients.

Systems Management

  • Pipeline & Market Analysis: Gather and analyze feedback from your pipeline, market trends, industry intelligence, and deliver actionable insights to marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Define and manage against OKRs for your enterprise business-development pipeline. Measure performance against forecasts and continuously improve to hit goals. Use data-driven insights to optimize and improve the pipeline

Qualifications

  • 5 years of demonstrated success in full-cycle sales, strategic growth roles, business development, in a B2B environment
  • Results oriented with a proven sales track record and consistency in achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Steadfast intuition and character as it relates to building trust with key contacts, finding problem-product fits, representing EcoEnclose's sustainability vision, and driving results for our target brands packaging goals
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tradeoffs and navigate unique stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to execute on and develop clear and repeatable sales processes, and make data driven decisions
  • A long term vision, excited by the idea of forming new relationships with brands that may take years to come to fruition

Compensation

  • $100,000 to $150,000 base with up to 50% in opportunity creation & client sign-on commissions. Salary commensurate with experience and demonstrated previous success.
  • Competitive benefits package, including 401K, health, vision, and dental coverage.
  • Louisville, Colorado based role. Hybrid work environment.
