The Tax Senior will support the corporate tax department primarily in the following areas: federal and state income and indirect tax compliance projects, estimated tax payments, quarterly and annual tax provision, tax planning/special projects, and federal/state audit defense work. Primary responsibilities will be: Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns for five states. Obtain, analyze, and review financial information for preparation of federal and state tax returns. Assist in preparing the Consolidated Federal income tax return, Forms 5471 and 8858, Partnership and state returns. Preparation and analysis of federal book/tax differences for provision and tax return. Prepare tax calculations and analysis related to 263A and Tax Depreciation. Analyze and update tax fixed asset ledger and reconciliations. Conduct US and State tax research. Compile financial data using OneStream and SAP for Quarterly Provision. Assist with pulling data for property tax renditions. Prepare monthly and quarterly tax account reconciliations. Assist in Federal and State examinations. Management of responses to tax notices, exam information requests and other correspondence. Assist with department software automation and modernization. Assist with other tasks within the tax department as assigned.
